Use your CSN grant to study Spanish in Málaga
From Sweden and can use CSN to study Spanish? Come to Debla — an Instituto Cervantes-accredited school on the Costa del Sol and live your immersion with us.

What is CSN, exactly?
CSN (Centrala studiestödsnämnden) is the Swedish Board of Student Finance. It offers grants and loans to Swedish students studying in Sweden or abroad — including full-time Spanish courses at accredited schools like Debla.

Tuition fees
CSN funding can go towards the cost of a qualifying full-time Spanish course.
Accommodation
Depending on your situation, funding can help with housing costs while you study in Málaga.
Living expenses
The grant and loan portions are designed to support everyday costs during your stay.
Who can apply?
CSN sets its own criteria and reviews every application individually. As a general guide, Swedish students typically need to:
- Be enrolled on a full-time course that leads to a recognised qualification or level
- Have lived in Sweden for at least two of the last five years, with some exceptions
- Be under 60 years old (borrowing terms change from age 51)
- Not be receiving certain other Swedish benefits at the same time
- Have no outstanding issues with previous CSN funding
- *Rules, amounts and processing times are set exclusively by CSN and can change. Always confirm your personal eligibility directly with CSN at csn.se — Debla can prepare course documentation but the funding decision is CSN's alone.
