Of course, the learning itself is the most important part of going to a school, but what made the difference for me was the amazing team.

As a former student at Debla, I can confidently say that this is one of the best language learning experiences I’ve ever had. From the amazing administrative team to the outstanding teachers, everything about Debla exceeded my expectations.
I spent three weeks at DEBLA this past December, from the 2nd to the 20th, taking the super-intensive course from 9 AM to 3 PM. I joined the A2 level class, and it was truly an incredible experience. The atmosphere was dynamic, professional, and incredibly motivating.
When I first arrived, I struggled to understand Spanish, and speaking felt like an impossible task. But thanks to the incredible support from my teachers – Amaya, Juan Antonio, Encarna, Almu, and the other teacher who were equally professional. I gradually gained the confidence to speak fluently with native speakers. Each teacher had a unique teaching style, which kept the classes engaging and enjoyable.
What sets Debla apart is the variety of experiences they offer outside the classroom. We practiced speaking with locals through quick interviews, which was a fantastic way to immerse ourselves in the language. I also participated in a Flamenco course, and the dance teacher was truly professional. Debla provides plenty of activities beyond the lessons, making the learning experience even more enriching and enjoyable.

Situated on a mountain, the school offered stunning views of Malaga that added a refreshing touch to our classes. The classrooms were spacious and well-equipped, providing a comfortable learning environment.
What I loved most about Debla was the engaging activities they organized. From interactive group discussions to cooking Paella, we had plenty of opportunities to practice Spanish beyond the classroom.
The teachers were really friendly and approachable. They created a supportive atmosphere where I felt comfortable asking questions and receiving personalized feedback. Their guidance helped me improve my language skills significantly.
While the placement within classes could be better, with different levels of students, the school was open to addressing any concerns. So, if you feel you’re in the wrong level, don’t hesitate to speak up!

ABOUT THE COURSES
The lesson times: – Intensive Spanish course times are as follows: 09:00 – 13:00 or 14:00 – 18:00 (schedules are subject to change) – Superintensive Spanish course times are as follows: 09:00 – 13:00 – 19:00 (schedules are subject to change).
Every Monday, except for absolute beginners who start on specific dates.
Tuition is included in the price. The cost of each book is 30€.
Yes you can, but your parents or legal representatives should sign an authorization before the course. The minimum age is 16 years
The minimum age is 16 years old.
Debla´s certificate guarantees that you have successfully completed the selected course and reached the proficiency level stated following our study plans which meet the standards set by the Instituto Cervantes. In order to be awarded our certificate, it is necessary to have attended at least 100% of the course lessons.

This depends on your study objective, if you want to improve your general Spanish and learn more about Spanish culture, or if your aim is to obtain an official diploma (DELE or SIELE). Also your starting level and length of stay can determine the best course choice.
If the event that your flight is delayed, you need to contact the driver through the number that you have been provided with previously. In addition, if your host family is waiting for you, it would also be advisable to let them know.
In case you have a serious problem in relation to the accommodation, you must notify the school office as soon as possible to solve it or, if necessary, proceed to change the accommodation. You will be informed of the conditions to change. For any problem or query about the accommodation, you have the office staff at your disposal.
